Generally taller, thinner than quarter round, shoe moulding can have various decorative profiles, some rounded and some not. Shoe moulding was originally designed to work well with baseboard moulding to create a functional and decorative transition between the floor and wall. However, they can be used in a variety of situations, including covering gaps, seams, or coordinate them with other Reliabilt moulding and “build up” the profile of your baseboard, crown, casing or any other moulding elements. Shoe mouldings are also great for furniture, cabinets, crafts, and many other DIY home projects. Easily turn a blank wall or an empty hallway into interesting and eye-catching design space by creating geometric designs or classic picture frame mouldings. Cuts and works easily with common wood working tools. To install: trim to length, miter the corners if needed, secure with finish or brad nails, then touch up the nail holes with Reliabilt touch-up kit (Item 2565512) or matching paint and filler.
